Here's a recap of the last year, and a glimpse at what to look forward to in the next.

Jan: I was staffing the 2020-21 Kingdom DTS and we were finishing up our last month of lectures. I wrote a few poems too, if you're interested in reading one.

Feb: The KDTS did a month of local outreach in lieu of an international one due to COVID restrictions. While we were sad not to go to Lebanon, we had a great time serving our local community!

Mar: The KDTS graduated! And the 2021 Arts & Media DTS started. I took over leading the Hospitality department on base, spoke for the first time at Harbour, and shared one of my favourite original poems.

Apr & May: I turned 24 (woohoo!). Other than that April and May were both pretty steady in that my day to day looked like staying on top of hospitality and enjoying a lighter schedule for a wee bit.

June & July: I joined the AMDTS for the first half of their outreach in Albania. I loved being with them and getting to know the YWAM Durrës team. I'm excited to see them again when I head there on outreach in February!

Aug: My good friends Ruby and Ben got married and I had the honour of helping them plan their wedding! I also took a wee holiday to visit friends and make a few new ones in Cardiff, Wales.

Sept: Staff training starts for the 2021/22 Kingdom DTS and at the end of the month the DTS began!

Oct: Lectures, the awkward getting-to-know-you phase at the beginning of every new school, lectures, fun times, and more really great lectures, and the Harvest Fest. Lots of general good craic!

Nov: The Literary Fest. More lectures. And a week of local outreach in Belfast for one team and Enniskillen for the other. Moved out of the YWAM base and into a flat in the village with my housemate Annie. We've had fun turning the flat into our home!

Dec: The last events we hosted for the year were the Christmas Craft Fayre and a pop up restaurant -both went swimmingly! We're currently on our Christmas break but start with our final lecture week on Monday. Then it's a week of outreach prep and then we're off to Wales & Albania, and Lebanon!

It's been quite the year, and I'm grateful for all of the ups and downs and lessons learned. What I know about next year is that from January 6 - March 5 I'll be coleading my first outreach! The DTS graduates in March and then it'll be time for a short break. I'm hoping to visit the States sometime in early Summer! This will be my first time home since moving (thanks, COVID). I will keep you posted on dates and hope to see as many of you as I can while I'm stateside!

As you guys know, my work here is support based. To my supporters, I can't thank you enough! I wouldn't be able to answer God's calling without your help making it a reality. Some of you may know that when I moved here last March I arrived with a two year commitment to YWAM Rostrevor and three year visa to stay in the U.K. This year I've felt the Lord's prompting to stay for the remaining year of my visa. That being said, some of my financial support has shifted and I find myself in need of more monthly aid. I ask that you'd please be praying with me for that provision and invite you to consider praying about partnering with me in my work here. If you have any questions about more specifics on what it is I'm doing or how to help please don't hesitate to reach out! You can shoot me a message on Facebook or email me at kelseachunt@gmail.com
