Thank you to anyone who read the title of this update and decided to read anyway! They say you should never talk about religion, politics, or money. One happens to be my job, the other I can't say I have much knowledge about as I should, and while the last may be no one's favourite it is important to talk about from time to time. I always strive to be honest with you all about my finances, and have always been incredibly blessed by this community of friends and family. When I first decided to join YWAM through my DTS in 2019 I was amazed at how much I was able to raise! When I joined staff in 2020 I had a moment of wonderful provision that seemed to come out of nowhere right at the last possible moment. My first few years on staff were ones of faith as I moved to Northern Ireland with the bare minimum of support required and saw God stretch it as needed. Over the years I've seen that as my financial needs grew, so did my support and that has been a humbling and faith growing experience.

So as I write to you about my request, it is not from a place of hopelessness. It comes from a place of need, absolutely, but also faith that God will continue to show up and provide.

My financial support is currently at the lowest it has ever been, and by the end of this year it will dip below the required amount of support (required is a strong word here. It more refers to a strongly suggested amount of monthly support to allow for a balanced life, not just one of struggle and scraping by). This loss has been a fairly quick one and I'm writing to you all now with imminent needs. At this time I do feel confident in God's leading to remain in Northern Ireland and in missions. I would like to raise my monthly support to not only the minimum, but beyond it so that I may keep up with the ever increasing cost of living in the UK, be able to continue giving to those with needs around me, and start saving for upcoming big costs in the next two years. Some of those things are a car + yearly insurance, the chance to move off of the YWAM base and into housing in the village, and my visa renewal which will happen in 2026. Those things are of course held with open hands, but also with the hope that they will become a reality.

If you feel like you'd like to give either a one time gift or partner with me monthly there are two main ways to give if you're based in the US. That's through either PayPal, or for a tax deductible option there is Modern Day Missions.

If you're based in the UK, the best way to give is through bank transfer. Please reach out and I'll be happy to send you my bank details.

I have been and continue to be so grateful for the prayerful, practical and financial support you all have given to me over my years here! I look forward to this being another testimony to share of God's faithfulness.

Blessings,

Kelsea
